Our client is looking for a OPERATION HEAD, someone who would be able to oversee overall Operations of the Company, which is possibly the fastest growing in the industry. The Company has already established a number of soap brands across Nigeria and is also the most preferred Contract manufacturer of soaps for leading MNC's. The Company is poised for a quantum growth in volumes and looking at beefing up its management team by inducting a Operation Head.

REPORTING TO: EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
ABOUT THE CLIENT:
v It is a wholly owned subsidiary of a well established GROUP which has been in operation in West Africa for over forty years with interests in banking, breweries, trading and vegetable oil production.
v Incorporated in 2003 but commercial ops commenced early 2005.
v Primary objective is to produce good quality Personal Care for the local and export markets, at affordable prices, leveraging on state of the art technology
v Professionally managed by a highly experienced team, both Expatriates and Nigerians– 95% staffs are Nigerians!!
v Produce and market its own brands, Bubble, Bubble Premium, Saga, Pride and Swift – currently distributed across Nigeria with plans for getting into neighbouring countries and also expanding the product range across different segments
v Contract manufactures DETTOL, Lux Diana, Asepso, JULIET, IPY, LUSH, JOLIE AND SIGNATURE
v Long term plans to get into other personal care products – Hair Care, Skin care and Personal hygiene.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- an MBA from a good institution, around 40 yrs, with at least 5 years direct operation experience as PCH / Ops head in an FMCG set up.
- He must be a good team manager and capable of coordinating cross-functional teams comprising manufacturing; supply chain, sales, marketing and finance.
- He should, therefore, have exposure to all these facets in a manufacturing set-up (FMCG).
- Work experience in Africa would be an added advantage.
- He should be innovative/ an out-of-the box thinker.
- Very good communication and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of Hindi and fluency in English are essential, with quite a few expat management staff being from North.
- He should have a proven track record of achievements under challenging conditions and be wiling to stretch extra for attainment of stiff targets.
- He should be quite stable with at least one good job held more than 5 years, with growth.
- He would report to the Executive Director.
- He has the best opportunity of getting into ED’s chair in a few years
