Position: Installation Engineer - Commercial Air-conditioner
Location: Nigeria (Lagos)
Reporting
to Service Manager
Qualification Experience:
Preferred ITI / Diploma in Air-conditioning & Refrigeration
Experience:
5+ Yrs
Age Group
25 - 30
Knowledge and Exposure:
Conversant
to all facets of installing, erecting, testing & commissioning of air
conditioners

an annual turnover of us dollar 250 million. They are manufacturers of
plastics, packaging, flexible, and corrugated boxes, film extrusion, chemicals
etc and also they are the leaders in consumer electronics like Ctv, video, audio,
air- conditioners representing Lg, Whirlpool, Phillips, Mrf etc.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for performing
variety of tasks associated with the erection, Installation Commissioning,
regulating the Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Equipment operations in
Accordance with established & scheduled.
- Installation of Electrical
controls, testing safety interlocking as per electric Drawing. Rectifying
Electrical, Mechanical Problems arising during commissioning Of Refrigeration
and HVAC plants.
- Responsible for performing
the full scope of work involved in Installation of HVAC system, Air
Handler Unit, Inspection of ducting construction, Dampers, Grills, supply
air Diffusers, Hot-Chilled water Tank, Insulation, Access door induct, Air
vents, to avoid Air locking, proper sealing of ducts to minimize duct
Leakages.
- Assisting in coordination of
projects with consulting engineers, customers & other staff.
- Room air flow Balancing, Duct
air flow balancing, Inspecting HVAC safety
Controls at Fire
Damper for fire/smoke ventilation, VAV systems operation.
- Responsible for performing
preventive maintenance of Water/Brine Chillers,
Gas Liquification Plants for Co2,
HVAC systems and Cold Storage Plants.
- Checking Compressor Loading
-Unloading operations, sequences according to
Designed Heat
load.
- Performing Capacity Test for
Air-conditioning and Refrigeration Plants.
- Minutes of meeting with
Customer, Submitting Operation manuals, Warranty Certificates, Commissioning
Reports with all parameters recorded and Work done at site with used
material lists.
