Ability to interpret architectural & structural drawings and apply it.
Ability to work well with people is essential and support team work
Role & responsibilities:
Serves as a plan check engineer on routine projects, including defining site works and scheduling program of works incl. quality control.
Monitor site/project schedules to check if its going accordingly to the program of works
Prepares routine plans, shop drawings, specifications, estimates and reports, including determining materials required.
Performs technical review of plans ensuring plans are in compliance with codes and regulations
Inspect and investigate site prior commencing work and study possible problems that may arise due to construction commencing
Provide solutions and precautions and maintain high standard of safety measures on site
Assist Project Engineer in verifying accuracy of drawings and checks the plan for quantities of materials to order and correct as necessary.
